about

The connection between a Producer and a Emcee can be both inspiring and volatile at times. As the Emcee is the Mothership ready to take flight, the Producer creates the rocket propulsion for that flight. In the 4 years it took to create MilkDrop's debut album D/Will helped to develop the flight plan, this in turn is what you have in "Falling Back To Earth." Creating a landscape perfect enough for MilkDrop to spill his introspective rhymes about every concept from the controversy in his local Kansas City scene ("Dirty Laundry"), to letting naysayers and critics know that their words aren't taken to heart ("You Say"). The overall feel of the album is that of personal struggle and triumph, inside of each song is a piece of hope for everyone.
